Mocal from Racer Parts Wholesale

I know this topic is overdone, but I could not find any info on the kit that Racer Parts Wholesale offers (http://www.racerpartswholesale.com/cooler.htm) the kit is about half way down th epage and is listed as part number "MOCKITBPLUS". It supposedly includes everything you need to replace the original fender cooler (n my case the trombone style cooler), but after reading some of the tech articles it seems like none of the systems are truly just bolt up as this one implies. I was just wondering if anyone had purchased one of these and/or knows what kind of modifications it will take to install.

Keep in mind that oil coolers made for water-cooled cars are a whole different animal than what 911's use. They're not dealing with the flow rate, volume, or other demands an oil-cooled engine.

Check out the Elephant Racing site for more information on this.

if you are talking about the kit in the link you listed, i use one and am very happy with the results. went on very easy. there will be some discussion about it only being a 12an as opposed to a 14 or 16, but its worked for me.

i know a few guys here have them, as i read up on it before i got mine. one hint, do not kink the supply lines to the cooler. it was recommended to use hose clamps to keep the hose round as it bends down to the cooler connection. i had to do that.

I've got one of the Mocals as well. I did have to do a bit of work down low. It may be kit B, the longer of the 2 styles. You can come over if you want to check it out. Send me a PM.
