3.2 Flatnose

I looked at a car that I want to buy that seems to be a 3.2 flatnose wide body US spec. I think I copied the vin no down wrong WPO ABO9116512077 It is a coupe. I cant see an oil leak, rust or signs of accident damage. The catch is it has the original (STD) lights and fenders put on. 104K miles on the clock interior a little shabby but not bad.

I cant find info on Flatnoses. Did they come with Fuchs 8's and 10's. was this a turbo? Can I buy steel fenders and go back to original? Did the early models not have "fake" pop up lights?
I am s keen, but a lemon is a killer. I did that already with a 1966 SWB 2liter.

Welcome ! Qatar is beautiful, and as a people so welcoming to foreigners. I enjoyed my work there, and saw a surprising number of Porsches.

Can you post pictures of your find ?

The 911 vin says it's a 911 not 930. Could be a 911 factory widebody. Factory fuchs didn't come 10" wide. Are they 15's or 16's? They made a 11x15. It would be nice to see some pictures of the front of the car.

The current front fenders even though standard seem wider than regular SC or 3.2 Carrera fenders. I am trying to get the vin no again so I can get more info. The best pic I have now is on that site link I gave www.qatar911.com Any pics I take will be huge but lets see.
