Excessive cranking to start.

2 times in the last few days I've had to crank my car over excessively to get it started. This morning I smelled a fuel scent in the interior (faint) it took around 15+ seconds to start.

I was thinking it was the fuel accumulator or a leak in the fuel accumulator circuit.

Any thoughts of where else to hunt?

Usually starts in -3 seconds.

Thanks
