Input on p-car dismantlers
I'm looking at picking up a 3.2 from LA Porsche Dismantlers . Do any of you have any experiences in deals with them that you'd like to share (here or PM).
Regards, Kevin |

I just had a real good experience with Parts Heaven out in Cali. I would do business with them again.
Sorry, but I haven't had any experience with LA Porsche Dismantlers. I was looking at buying some stuff from them, but the price was better at Parts Heaven. FWIW |

I picked up a pair of 16"X8" Fuchs from them for a fair price. They were delivered and in the the condition they stated. I've also had very good success with 20th Street Auto parts in Phoenix.

Parts Heaven is good although their shipping charges always seem to be excessive. It seems like they're tacking on an handling fee--I just wish they'd be up front about it.
For early cars I always check with Jerry at EuroEast first. Jerry is a straight shooter and will take care of you. If he doesn't have what I'm looking for, then I'll look around.

Ive been waiting for 3 years for Todd to replace a broken piece that he sold me. Finally I gave up. When I mention there name to shop owners or Porsche guy I get the same smirk as when people mention Motor Miester. Thats my personal experience.

I've had good luck with Parts Heaven, and Silver Star Recycling in Rancho Cordova.

Ok For... been good to me. say Hi to Matt!
Todd at LA is OK by me, came through big on a few things for me, with reasonable $'s, although it can be tough to get a call back, I won't lie. Good Luck!

Parts Heaven - always aces with me; HUGE inventory > we swapped wiper motor assemblies back & forth 3 times before I got the right on, they were very helpful as always. I have bought from them many times over a 20+ year period (going back to PorscheHeaven days)
EASY - also very good and have a lot of parts OK Foreign - Very good service, competitive prices, not as much early car inventory LA Dis - no experience

PartsHeaven, been working with them for years, when it comes to used parts they are as good as it gets. Ask to speak with Al or Spencer. Honest, fair, can't say enough good things about them.
Good Luck. |

I was pretty pleased with the 3.6 I bought through Silver Star Recycling, good price for a great engine.
