Dim Indicator Bulbs - Both Illuminated
This is a solution to my problem, not a question.
If you have both turn indicator bulbs illuminated together (and dimly lit) then you probably have insufficient load on your turn signal relay. One of the coils ('C') is current driven and requires sufficient load to operate. In my case I had put 10W bulbs in the front where 21W is required. I guess a failed bulb would give the same symptoms. |

I was sure I wasn't alone on this.
PS - I did not figure this out myself, Dilbert had to leave his cubicle and help me out. ![]()

I guess they'll flash more quickly, and you might melt the lense cover in the front, the bulbs are very close the cover in my car. Go ahead and try, it shuold work fine. 6 Watts per side is only 1/2 amp more.
