Fiberglass spoiler idea
What we know:
The early S front spoilers are incredibly expensive and hard in steel. Apparently the fit of the fiberglass repros leave a lot to be desired. The S spoiler is much better than the stock bumper at reducing lift. What we don't know: Why someone hasn't made a fiberglass splitter that can bolt on to the early front bumpers and make them functionally and aesthetically like an early S spoiler. I for one would be very interested in a product like this. I think an early bumper with both the air vents the splitter would pretty cool also. Any one with more fiberglass experience than me (which is none)up to the task?

There used to be a few suppliers of these. Some of the old manufacturers might still have the molds... You might give a shout to A.I.R.

I understand the weight issue. But many people that don't track their cars much are ok with the steel parts. I was thinking this would be a functional add-on to the existing steel bumper much like the chin spoilers are for later cars.
Techweenie- What is A.I.R., I googled it and didn't find anything. Thanks, Sam
