The END of the HP Junkies Camp.

Well folks after 6 years and many tears the time has come to throw the towel and walk away from the Porsche World.

I have many reasons and I hope some of you will learn from my mistakes.

Making big power and drag racing a 911 has nothing to do with the brand "Porsche"

The Porsche world is stuck in a Pre Historic Era and along with that era many tuners and many people in the industry are in the same wagon.

I wish all of you the best with your projects.

I believe I understand the reasons Juan, but it's sad to see you leave the Porsche scene. I hope to see you back again with a street car.

Good luck with the other project.

Don't be a stranger, Juan. If you're moving to another platform, keep us posted about it here. You've got a lot of fans on this board.

Racing is like sex: there's more to it than going in a straight line for 10 seconds.

Wow, please keep us updated on your new exploits. We'll miss your updates.

My favorite video was the one of the kids driving next to you, who expressed their excitement at the flames coming out of your exhaust on deceleration.

WTF is meant by that? Juan entertained a lot of us with his build both in updates, and knowing how much money he spent at it. He deserves a little drama upon retirement.

Well, well, well... so you've finally decided to throw in the Porsche towel Juan?

Oh well, all I can say is thanks for motivating me to turbocharge my Carrera those many years ago when I was looking for that extra ooomph from my tired 3.2. You and Mike helped me look "ouside the box", so to speak, when it came time to extract some decent HP from my Carrera, so thanks.

All the best for whatever project you have in mind

Keep us posted too

Juan, I have followed your project since the first post. You have done fantastic work with a pretty restrictive platform. Amazing really.

Don't stay away. I'll look forward to reading about the Tiburon project.

Con dios, amigo!

I've been with Juan the whole way, its def been a long road for him. I remember changing out 5 axles one day at an event, seems like i spent the whole day on my back, it didn't help that it was 100 degrees that day. The long nights, changing clucthes, and turbos, not to mention building axles from broken pieces. Juan has def spent a ton of money on this car. Theres a support system for the car, u just have to have a money tree to do it. The car is just too nice to be a drag only car. Someones gonna get a hellva deal. Pictures just don't do this car justice. Its as nice if not nicer than most show cars. Its gonna make me cry when the car is sold.
