Tach connections Help!

I am installing an old '67 912 tach into a 70 karman Ghia. I need to find out the following three connections in the center of the tach. There are three wire connectors marked: (+12), (1) and (-) (minus sign)
Please help me and tell me where to connect them to

Assuming that we are working here without known circuit diagrams etc.

+12V a bit obvious, main battery circuit once ignition is turned on, meter your other dash dials / wires to locate a 12V feed.

(-) is ground, again meter for ground connection wire or install a ground link yourself.

1 remains your lead back to the negative link on the coil which sends the tach signal to the tacometer.
