The Top Gear review is up on autoclips.net. The site is finicky though, so you might have to try a couple of times. Sorry if a repost.
Review Jeremy liked it but said it bugged him that it obviously was designed as an underpowered 911. "to fill a gap in the market" He calls it the Coxster. Ian edit: spelling & grammar |
Even if I had that kind of money, I would never waste it on a car. Especially not on a brand new one.
But on the topic - sure whats not to like about a brand new Porsche ? |
jfw, You need to post more often. That is mammorizing...er mesmerizing.

It's a beautiful car and because of the price would be a sales winner for Porsche. It won't go the way of the 924/944/928/968 judging from the response so far.

Okay, so when I am wrong I admit it. The guys over at Gerber Motorsport in Seattle showed me a black metallic Cayman S today and I have to say it was very nice looking in person. It looked nothing like the pictures that I have seen. The body lines were very smooth. The interior was a great upgrade over what I have seen in other Porsches also.
Overall, I give it 4 out of 5. :) |
It's a good car, no doubt- issues may develop but they always do- it'll depend on how severe to show its value over time- thing is--- for the same $ as a nicely equipped one (fake alum seat backs!?) one could get a 997 with 1k on it- sold by some guy who couldn't afford it or thought it would feel like his audi- not that there's anything wrong with audi- i have one in addition to my carrera- i think they look okay, kinda bubbly or puffy though- can't quite explain it- i do love the look of the blue one photoshop posted earlier- very cool looking-
