3.6 Oil Temp Sender??

Not thinking too clearly I ordered a numbered gauge and matching sending to install in my 3.6'd SC. The gauge should be no problem, but when I went to install the sender I remembered the sender is not in the same location as my 3l. Of course I should have checked this out before I ordered parts.

So, where is the oil temp sender in a 964 3.6? Will the 'old' sender fit?

The 3.6 sender is next to the crankcase breather


The big can is the pressure sender the temp sender is next to it. The one you ordered should fit ok.
