Strange noise- rear passenger side

I have had this noise for the last few years, but can't seem to track it down. It only happens in cooler temperatures (below 50F)
so it has started up again. These are the conditions when the
noise occurs:

1) below 50 degrees F
2) idle or lightly above idle RPM's

It comes from the rear right side / passenger side of the car and
sounds like a higher pitched rattle buzzing noise. Any Ideas ????

Thanks,
Mike

It's the Ambient Air Valve.

It's that black round part that sits just above the oil filler neck.

It should have 3 hoses coming from it.

1 from the front, 1 from the back and 1 on top.

Thank You kqw ! There have been 119 people that read this and You were the only response ! Do You know if there are any checks I can do on this part to verify its making the noise, or should I just replace it?

Thanks,
Mike

When you hear the buzzing, open the engine lid (careful while engine is running) and listen to it or put your finger on it...You'll hear/feel the vibration.

There's a small diaphram in the AAV that get's stuck etc. and you can try to clean it out however, it's not that expesive to replace.
