Hi -
On my 72, there are five terminals on my wiper motor. How would I hook up the battery to test the motor? Which lead should get +12V, and which (-). Can the motor be tested without a battery? I would like to test the wiper motor before putting it back in the car? Thanks, ![]() ![]()

Hi, The connectors for your motor are...Negative (-) is the connector that is connected to the casing of the your motor. Looks like the one on the far lefthandside in pic 2. The next one is the switch that parks your motor so the blades aways stop in the same position. The other 3 are all positive (+). If you connect + to any one of these you'll see the motor rotate at different speeds. If you get + and - the wrong way round all that will happen is your motor will rotate the other way. Hope this helps.

"The other 3 are all positive (+)"
- Those are the ones with black wires that are all mounted on a brown bakelite looking strip (?)
