Intake gaskets- slightly too small. Should I do anything?

Hi,

This post might not be 100% appropriate, but....

I recently bought some intake gaskets from PMO for my carbed '73 911S.

I noticed that the ID of the gaskets is about 1mm narrower than the head or the insulating spacers. Should I try making the ID larger to match the spacers and head? Would the restriction make much of a difference?

Thanks,

I think you should open them up Neil, no reason to have unnecessary restriction when it can be easily trimmed up.
