At what point did the 911 (or the 356 also), surpass perform. of 550 Spider?

When could a 356 and could the original 60s 911 out-perform J.Dean's Spider in all departments?

Thanks

When a better driver was driving.

Or, probably the answer that you were looking for, if not the original then probably the '67R.

It's hard to argue with the weight of the 550s, but the '67 R was probably a contender.

Of course, this is just my non expert, knee jerk opinion.
