If you have USAA and your car is struck by another vehicle, never, report it to them or tell them anything, unless you're filing a claim.

USAA ups your insurance rate if you report getting hit by someone else, even if the other party's insurance covers the damage.

Read your ins. contract carefully - if it requires you to report any damage, and you don't ... they might be able to void your policy.

All this CRAP comes about b/c they have lobbyists in the legislature -- and you don't.

I recently switched insurance cos. The new company asked me if i ever race my porsche and wrote in my policy that the car would not be covered at any race track events.

THe answer of course is no. You merely take it to DE's, autocrosses, and rallyes, right?

Be sure to read what it ways before signning - might not say race - might say timed speed event.

I made the same mistake with USAA, I asked about auto crossing and I was immediately transfered to under writing where they said I need to put in writing that I would never so such a thing.....
