Challenging bolt - need help

I've got a challenging bolt. It is the last I need to free to get the passenger side window frame off. I've rounded the inside of this allen bolt. Can't get at it to dremel a slot in it. It is about 3/4-1" inside the door (near the hinges). Not easy to get at.

Here is a picture.

Any ideas?

Unfortunately, the cutting wheel is the limiting factor.

Hammer a 12 point socket onto it and back it out that way.

They make a set of extractors to do exactly what you need. Most audi guys have them since audi bolts do this all the time. If you know any wrenches just ask them for the help. Too bad you live so far away I would loan you mine.
They also sell these sets at sears. Might be worth a trip to the store. Good luck

Rick beat me to it. I was also going to suggest Sears...ask to look at the various styles of Craftsman "bolt outs"...they work well. Might as well ask about their new "screw outs" while you're there.

Depending on how bad its stripped what worked for me was using a slightling larger hex head and hammering it in and they turning. I doubt that would work though.

Had a bad experience with an extractor ... twice. I'll try the socket method.

McMaster-Carr sell a kit that has several sizes of a really good tool for this problem.
The tools are hex in shape but with a taper that allows the bit to go inside a stripped out hex bolt.
The idea being....to hammer in the tool and let it make it's own hex as it goes deeper.
Then, while tapping it gently with the hammer, turn out the bolt.

Vin is a smart man...and the hammering of the socket over the allen head helps by acting like an impact to loosen whatever is bindinging the thds.

Manual impact driver. You'll also need a 3/8" dr. socket w/metric hex (male) while you're at it. Harbor Freight and most tool/auto parts stores have them. Sudden torque is the answer to loosening bolts.
