Door switch inop. Do I have to remove the fender?
Has anyone changed out an A-post door switch (this is the switch that is activated by the door to turn on the interior lamp)? Do I have to remove the fender to change it out or does it just pop out of the panel? Any photos on this operation would be helpful..
I need to replace my right-hand door switch. Thank you, HFR_Racer.

No, it unscrews rearward. Pull off the rubberboot; loosen the lock nut and unscrew it. Don't let the wire pull back into the door post.

Thanks Jim....
Does this have anything to do with my trunk lamp harness short? They are in the same circuit?

Possibly; just read your other post. Now getting out my wiring diagrams. 25 amp fuse is a bad sign. More later.
