964 C2 to Carrera RS brake conversion / upgrade?
Is there a parts list out there to accomplish this? I understand that the RS system is based on the C4 boosted system and most of the parts are different along with the fact it's a 4 channel system. That's about as far as my knowledge goes on it so wanted to see if there was a definitive list for this conversion already. Considering this and a few other possibilities as an OEM+ upgrade to my RSA.
Thanks Jeff |

it is based on the electro-hydraulic also used in the 964t most conversions eschew the electro-hyd pump and change to a 993 vacuum boost w/ a 993 23.8mm m/c to do that you need m/c 993.355.910.00 vac can 993.355.023.10 gasket 993.355.301.00 support 993.355.163.03 and to covert from 964 10mm lines to 993 12mm, thyou can have new custom lines made by someone like Classictube or just use 2x BMW 10-12mm conversions BMW part # 34-32-6-752-405 rotors can be plain or holey as used on RS front plain are from 928GTS 928 351 046 01 928 351 045 01 holey are stock 964RS 32x322 unless you are also changing the wheel carriers to 993 aluminum versions in which case use either stock 32x322 993RS or aftermarket slotted Gyrodisc the front calipers are either stock 964RS or stock regular 993 or 928S4 (these are all black), they use the same pads but need different caliper adaptors, be sure too specify the specific caliper, wheel carrier and rotor to the caliper adaptor supplier. Alternatively you can use the RED 993RS/tt front calipers or black 928GTS, again specifics need to be supplied to the caliper supplier in back use 993 regular stock calipers these are black or silver and must be painted if you want red. These are straight bolt on rotors are either stock 964 rear or 944 S2 M030 holey rotors 964 rear rotor x2 951.342.041.02 964 RS rear rotor x2 951.352.041.91

No wonder I was having such a hard time searching for this. For some reason I got it in my brain that it was 4-ch but I think I must have confused it with a 996 conversion I had researched previously.
Thanks, Bill. -Jeff |
