Question for javadog
Hi JR, Thanks for your reply on the oil cooler fan removal. I have everything apart and am now just waiting for the new switch and stone guard. I have the new mounts as well and was just wondering why you recomended installing them so that the shorter studs were facing toward the cooler?? I'm thinking maybe it is easier reinstalling the unit with shorter studs out. Thanks again for your help!! Murf

That's the reason-it's sometimes easier to install the cooler that way, especially if you haven't removed the hoses. If you have removed the hoses, it's not important. Just make sure that whichever way you install the mounts that you get a thread or two of each stud poking out of the end of each nut when they are tight. JR |
