Hey kandhmfg:

Is that a Turbo tail base with a Carrera "rubber" surround I see at the back of your car? Can you confirm these two pieces fit together without mods?

Will, I see an RS America tail on that car, but I do know that the Carrera rubber fits on Turbo base. A friend in the Chicago area did it for his car. IIRC it was a bolt on.

Will-
It is an an aftermarket fiberglass turbo style tailbase with a factory carrera rubber lip. I purchased it used and the rubber does seem to fit without mods. I have had the rubber off and on to do the matching paintwork. PO may have drilled additional holes in fiberglass to match studs in rubber lip. Truth be told I thought is was a carrera tailbase when I bought it, but I guess it has a little of the Ruf Yellowbird look in the rear minus the vent holes in the quarters. You can ask Scott Shores at Pelican, he has seen, and ridden in the car during Autox in Phoenix. His brother Mad Mike on pelican is co-driving w/me.

Jack-
I guess a full RSR backdate might be better wider rear fenders come with appropriate holes. I'll rethink it
