Time for a new Battery???
Well it started last year when the weather began getting colder:
There would be a delay in activating the starter when turning the key. Ran fine all summer...now that it getting colder, the hesitation to crank is there again... Battery is an interstate and was installed jan. of 2000... Is it time for a new battery???? Thanks

Yep, If its five plus years old, it's "running on borrowed time". You might get a bit more life out of it (there are batteries that occasional last up to 7 years) but at a significant risk of being stranded. Jim

I just replaced mine today (also an Insterstate, also 5 years old). I'm a happy camper.
And while I had the battery out (as well as my spare, carpets, etc)...I cleaned my trunk. Yay. |
