Maybe it's the picture, but it looks like the foam has swelled up and the leather is loose. Maybe flood damage?
Again, it could just be the lighting.

Well I know these are not cheap when bought new. I had them in my 964 Speedy and they're really great seats. Someone may get them cheap and have em redone. It was just a heads up.
