Diff of G-50 and G-50/50?
My car is an early '89 [3.2] with a G-50 tranny. I have read, in different places, the G-50/50 refered to with no description.
What's the difference? Dumb question? I don't know. I don't care about looking dumb as much as I care about finding this out. Thanks! Drums

the G50/50 was introduced for the '89 turbo to replace the previous 4spd w/ a beefed up 5spd.
The casing and front cover containing the pinions are identical to the G50/00 but the clutch and diff casing were reinforced as was the end cover. the cwp was 215mm instead of the previos 190 cwp ratio is the same @ 9:31 gear ratios are 13:41 19:34 26:33 30:29 41:31
