New member with pix !

Hello to all the members and their cars!

I have finally got around to getting pix of my first P-car and introducing myself. I am in the Seattle-Tacoma area and belong to the PNW chapter of PCA (at least for the time being depending how it goes).

The car was locally found last August after a nationwide search and purchased for $12.5K with 141K miles. The motor had been rebuilet 12k miles ago which was the big selling point for me plus the red-black-linen color combo. I recently invested $3.5K in an entire new brake system, turbo tie rods, tensioner update and 'soup to nuts' tuneup. Alex at MAXRPM in Bremerton, WA did a fantastic job taking my car and motor to a whole new level. Even the g/f who doesnt care about cars too much loves riding in it. I had test drove Boxsters, 944s and 928s but it was all she wrote when I drove the 911.

I work in the Air Traffic field with Lockheed Martin who just took over our FAA jobs a few weeks ago. I have 3 kids all driving age (SCARY!) but no, they don't get to drive the 911 nor my Trans Am so they are stuck with my Grand Prix daily driver.

I want to thank many of you who have shared your knowledge here that has been proven invaluable for someone like myself with little 911 experience but lots of enthusiasm!

I love my car and look forward to more upgrades in the near future and attending the next PNW autocross.

Sweet ride! Nice colors inside and out and sounds like a good price to boot.

Sometimes it just works out. Looks great - I'm a sucker for linen interiors. Enjoy it!

Thanks Al. I made the Olympic Peninsula run to Chehalis last August which was a blast. I will attend more events as my work and family schedule allow and look forward to meeting more local enthusiasts.

Look forward to meeting you. I mean roads, not rodes. My internal spell check must have been overloaded while my fingers were furiously typing.
