If you don't mind a little less technical suggestion...
get rid of that UGLY cross over heater hose/booster fan set up that started in 1975 & retro back to the 74 & earlier style with 2 horns off the L & R of the fan feeding those nice SSI or used EOM early style heat ex'rs....looks soooo much better, Oh look!!! you can see the engine now ...

That sounds about right and of course Harris (Houston) and the surrounding counties are some of them. I believe it's actually a 24 year rolling exemption because when I bought my 79 in 2003 the lady at the DMV said it was not exempt since it was not 25 years old. I asked her kindly to get out the law and read it. After reading she said, oh, I guess it is 24 years.
