Simple Dumb PPI Question...

When you sell a car and the buyer would like a PPI...dumb question, do you just hand him the keys and say cya later, or get a deposit, his keys, his first born, or ???

Truely sorry, but inquiring minds would like to know.

thanks

Why don't you take it to the PPI and get the buyer to drive you home.

He picks the shop and pays the bill, and you go with him and give the mechanic hard glares.

Just trade keys- you have insurance and are trying to get rid of the car anyways, right?

Prime example of what NOT to do. Just read some of the posts regarding insurance payoff.

I have asked the buyer where I should bring the car for their PPI.

Usually end up chatting with the buyer while the wrench does his thing.

Ah...makes sense (I do feel dumb), yes, take the car to the wrench of choice and give the mechanic hard glares...I like that.

When my son bought his Prelude, they just gave him the keys and said cya....just couldn't see doing that with mine.

too cool, thanks
