It works for me and I wish it didn't. Man, I want that car so bad....

Here's an idea, let's all do a group buy (10k a head) and then take turns driving it... Oh BTW, I'm first!

Let's all do a fractional ownership purchase. What do you say? It will fullfill many dreams and be not quite that expensive.

I couldn't even afford the insurance on that one. Not likely to get caught though.

I have a friend with an F40 and a 250 GTO (the other prancing horse cars) and his insurance is quite reasonable.

Either way, I couldn't afford the car or the insurance..

I don't know why, but to me the GT1 is so much more desirable than the C-GT (family resemblance to our cars?). The GT1 makes me tingle all over. The C-GT makes me drool. Okay, wait a minute. I want one of each...

Friends with Ferraris are friends indeed.

Re: Just in time for X-mas!

I would like to see a "Replica" made from this car.

If we were to build a replica of it, what would we build it out of?

Start with a 993 Twin Turbo S?

I just saw black one on Saturday west bound on the 91

You saw a GT1 or a 993 Twin Turbo S? Being from Southern California originally, I would imagine seeing one on the road. What an awesome car for some of the coastal canyon roads. Better yet, just imagine that car on Ortega Hwy, going to Lake Elsinore.

Also, the Replica would be an awesome concept. The 993 chassis would be the best for the conversion, but who would want to chop one up? A replica can be made off an Long Wheel Base 911 chassis, to use up the mid-70s lower dollar chassis. I do believe 993 chassis would be the better choice.
