Rear ride height?
Can I get away with a lower ride height then 25 inches at the rear. As of now it is at 24 inches. Could I get alittle more then half an inch with just the adjusters on the spring plates or will I have to re-index the torsion bars again. Since I'm running stock torsion bars on a 78 911sc will I be asking for problems with bottoming out? If I'm able to get it to 24 and one half inches should I lower the front to 24 and one half to keep the one degree slope?

I'm sorry I will adjust the front to 25 inches if I can get the 24 and half at the rear.

First of all...two piece rear spring plates that allow adjustment appeared around 77. We don't have model/year of your car.
If the bars were never adjusted previously...tha two piece style only allows RAISING, as originally delivered by the factory ( adjustment is "full over" to one side of the slot...the wrong side for your purposes). If it was adjusted by someone else before, then you may have a chance. Most people like to "center" the adjustment when they re-index so they have a small amount of up / down tolerance afterwards. Total adjustment range is about 3/4" I'm told. If you have a narrow body car, the measurement for the front is 1/2" higher than the rear ( due to shape of the fender cut-out) ...to get a small ( 1 degree down) slope. Wil

The car is a 1978sc and I did center the spring plates so I have adjustment up or down.
