Zeke, my thoughts exactly. That P-Car GRIN looks familiar!

Scooter 11-16-2005 08:53 AM

I know Mark is grinning ear to ear with his new 993 C4S. I can hear it in his voice when I talk with him on the phone. :D

arcsine 11-16-2005 08:59 AM

I was bummed until I read the duck is coming back to the NW and jealous that Mark already has the C4S.

I know how it feels to let an old love go.......but the new one usually is even better.....but different, eh?

Kmatts 11-16-2005 09:12 AM

Drago, are you serious? I thought maybe the car was for Ross's lady friend in the pictures.......

Doug&Julie 11-16-2005 09:15 AM

"R-eola Gruppe President - We're small, but sensitive."

He he...I just saw this... :D

Hey Kurt,
The best way I can describe the difference is that the SC is a point and shoot weapon while the 993 is fire and forget. The SC (at least mine) was very quick off the line and 993 builds speed smoothly and exponentially. Varioram kicks butt!

Some how, I think the Duck belongs in the PNW. This will be the third time it has lived there.

vash 11-16-2005 10:28 AM

damn, i have missed alot. didnt know you were selling or buying. i think someone got a great SC.

Nope, just adding. He has to make room for the SC though.

Anyone in the market for a '40 Ford project truck?

They ought to be crossing the Texas/NM border about now.

JackMan 11-16-2005 12:28 PM

I like Ginger. She looks to be a little high maintenance, but a nasty girl at heart. Ooops.

Oh man, you had to go and mention THAT truck. When I finished my '57 Chevy truck I said the only other truck I wouldlove more is a '40. I would give my left for a '40 Ford pickup.

Not that I can do it right now - up to my neck in my '76 restoration, but what is the deal with it? How far completed/how much? You'd better tell me or I am going to wake up in the night thinking about it.

Suuurrrre, Ginger is drop-dead sexy . . but give Maryanne her dues. She cleans-up great, is a whole lot of fun, AND low maintenance.

Yep, Maryanne gets a bit sweaty in the heat of Texas. I'm glad to hear she's headed back to the NW.

Gunter, he sold the car to Ross up here in the NW. We should be seeing a lot of it in the future. Your question should be directed to Ross. :)

Don't feel bad. One night back in 2000 when I was removing the tags to my longtime buddy ('84 Isuzu impulse) for donation, I cried real tears. It had gotten me through 8 years of grad school (plus two other years)nearly without fail. I loved that car. Its nice that your car is going to someone that'll probably take good car of her. I felt like a bum donating it where it would probably be discarded, after all we went through!

Jeff Higgins 11-17-2005 11:20 AM

So how is Wheels going to hold onto her barf bag now? Or is only for when Ross is driving?

Mark Wilson 11-17-2005 11:24 AM

Come on Jeff, You know her name is Wheels.

M.D. Holloway 11-17-2005 12:09 PM
