Bitz EFI Air Intake
For all the BITZ EFI users that have 'hacked' their airbox, can someone provide a recommendation for a suitable air intake, like the ones Tony shows in his Gallery section?
Thanks!

Rob,
Here is something I found on ebay. Looks like it would work. Tons of comparable stuff. Just make sure the elbow is 3" to fit the Cobra rubber boot. The aluminium elbow shown below isn't 90 degrees, but it probably ok since the rubber boot can also be rotated a bit. $5 + $25 shipping to USA or $35 to Canada. ![]()

Here is a better one. This one has a 90 elbow. You can just cut it with a hacksaw to the exact length you need.

Ben,
The plenum and TB that you show in your post is exactly what I would like to do. Are the box dimensions and more details available? I am expecting my Bitz EFI system to arrive soon, I would like to fire up the TIG and get started. Jim S. |

If you are going to tig it up yourself then you must have some fab skills and it is very similar to the original box.. Now if you need one I can make one for you(business not personal)

Ben,
Do you have more images of that plenum? Maybee any shots with the filter on it as well? I think this looks great. Now if they only started the rolling SMOG again (CA) so I can do this to my '78. |
