I did the same this morning, and tonight it has started to snow here in Stockholm. Talk about some good timing!! At least I know my bellowed SC is in a warm garage and not out in the cold and snow

Some of you might recall my recent posts about LES (Lake-Effects-Snow). I'm on the East coast of Lake Erie, near Buffalo, NY.. and it just happened last Thursday night. Miserable. Two feet of normal accumulation, plus high winds caused drifts that were door-handle high on all four sides of my daily driver...

It was 60 degrees F just one-two days prior....

Yeppers....Carrrera nicely cocooned in my attached garage. Time for winter projects, I guess.

I am planning the winter sleep tomorrow after one last run. Calling for wet weather mon and thurs. with temps in the low 30's my little truck can plan on some action. At least I can get started on the upgrades. The last couple of weeks getting the garage in shape were worth it. The best room in the house!

Of course today it's 52 perfect degrees--if Thanksgiving weekend is going to be nice, I'm bringing her out again....

C'mon, tell us. Mudslides? Earthquakes? Sinkholes?

We northerners have to keep tellin ourselves that's all you have there. Besides- I couldn't afford to live in the manner I'm accustomed to there on my midwestern wages.

Beautiful day here. 58 degrees and sunny. I did some yard work and then stretched the legs on the 911. About 80 miles. Nice fun. Did a quick run up to about 120 just to remember what these cars are all about. I keep mine in my garage all winter......just in case.

It was cold in Orlando today it was only 76 degrees!! Coming from the Northeast I know what crappy winters are all about and I don't miss them at all.
