PCCB brakes? Used maybe?

What with the guys with GT3s taking the PCCBs off for track use, has anyone seen used ceramic brakes- how much? I also heard there were heat issues that make it hard to bolt these onto something else? I'm thinking that if the price were a few grand instead of many grand then this might be the way to go, and I'm sure it's been looked into... '73 RSR replica.

Even used theya re quite a bit more expensive than the #s you cited. Fitment is very difficult on pre 996 cars because of their dimensions.
