Correct 1972 lenses?
My 72 911T came to me with front turn signal lenses and rear lenses with the silver trim.
Are these lenses original to the car? Every other 72 911 I have seen has had black trimmed lenses. I would have thought that as my car has a factory anodized black decklid grill and porsche lettering that the lenses would be black too. Both sets of lenses were heavily worn and looked original to the car. This car does not appear to have been altered from its original factory equipment (see pics). It has always been a Canadian car (Euro rear lenses). Also the VIN no. is 9112110407 if that is any help..... Thanks in advance....

Silver trim around the lens was oem in '72, red/clear/red rear lens on US yellow/clear/red on ROW (side to center)
