Are all long hoods the same?

Recently picked up a '66 912. I am backdating my '74 to '73 RS bodywork. Are the fenders & hood from a '66 the same as the '69-'73's?

-John

Hood maybe but fenders no. The '69-'73 fenders have more flare at the lip.

Also, the 69-73 fenders have a longer directional housing and shorter horn grill, compared to 65-68.

So, as far as fitment goes, the SWB fenders fit & bolt up the same though? The body panel lines will match up the same as the '73's but its mainly the turn & horn signal housing areas that are different? TIA. -John
