I tried to find this on the Weltmeister site, with no luck. Does anyone know if it is a Weltmeister piece, or made by someone else? Thanks, Alex

Thanks. I thought about looking, but when I didn't see it on the Weltmeister site, I figured they didn't make it anymore. I do research for a living, you'd think I would have taken the next step. Thanks for the tip.

Bumping an ancient thread here:

Attempting to use a lift and I can't see to get the rear arms back far enough to prevent the engine from appearing to teeter off the lift. Using the corners of the tub as recomended in the picture earlier in this thread.

Those with lift expierence, thoughts?

Is it safe to jack up by the rear trailing arms and then lowering onto jack stands under torsion tubes? This essentially compresses shock then lifts the rear

I jacked up by the sump plate and put the jack stands inside the longitudinals on the torsion tube, then left the jack in place.

I was referring to using a lift, but I got it. Annoying that there aren't proper pads.

I have a lift and a '75 911. I use the furthest forward and rearward seam that runs along the side of the rockers and curves in at the wheel wells. On the older cars it looks like a 1/2" vertical ridge. Its very strong.

If lifting on a seam use a pinch weld block like this

When lifting on a flat use a pad or block to distribute the load over a wider area

If I need to remove my right front wheelsand don't have a jack pad that fits into the side of the car, what is the best spot to jack from to quickly do a single wheel swap?
