Otto's in Venice: A+ guy

Quick story: My 915 grenaded recently, upon pulling it apart, I thought I needed an operating shift sleeve when actually I needed the shift sleeve guide.

Otto responded to my call for the shift sleeve which arrived today well-packaged and a day early. I opened it and found the wrong part. I just called up Otto, said I screwed up and need the guide instead, and without missing a beat he says he'll put one on the UPS truck tomorrow.

We talked for a bit, really nice guy.

My shift sleeve guide has seen better days.

From what I hear he has been working on these cars forever and has a very good rep. Good to hear these days!

Thumbs up for Otto!

He came through with a Lambda unit for me a year or so ago.

I stopped by Otto's looking for a pump for my wiper fluid. He said sure go on and look upstairs. I found one, charged me 5 bucks and we talked Porsche for about an hour. He lost money on me. Great guy.

Otto's been terrific each time i've gone by his shop. He's always been more than fair, often downright generous when it comes to having his shop work on my car.

Great guy with a well-deserved reputation for being the man when it comes to air-cooled p-cars.

Funny thing is I am dropping my new to me Carerra off at his shop today! He has always done well by me on my early car and I am sure he will treat the '84 well too.
