wind shield washer bottle

Anyone know of a good alternative to the giant wind shield washer bottle on a 80 SC?

I'm looking for something I could mount in the trunk that would not look to out of place. something much smaller .

Any ideas/

Thanks as usual.

I am using a 1 liter aluminum bottle in the smugglers box. I'll try to get pics of the bottle and install tonight. If you want I have lots of the bottles available, just pay the shipping.

I want this, too, but have not found a good replacement.

I'm concerned about the threads fitting the same cap which I want to keep the same.

Pics of smaller solutions would be great!

Why not go with a factory Intensive system. Bottle is kind of small, but works.

Do a search. There's a guy who used a generic water bag from JC Whitney. IIRC, he hid it very slickly behind the cardboard at the back of the trunk.

Gary, will the original plastic cap fit the aluminum bottle?
If so I will take you up on the offer.

Nope. You have to drill two holes in the cap (feed and return lines) and run the tubing through the cap.

i have recently come across a toner waste bottle from Xerox part number 8r12896 that I think will do the trick for me. I dont have my camera with me, but maybe you could find a pic on the internet. its much smaller than the original, and its clear and its free. I looked on ebay but couldnt find any with a picture.

I would use the Carrera intensive washer bottle or the 964/993RS washer bottle.

Another thought is to ask yourself how many times you have pulled back on the stalk to actually wash the windshield...I got 0 myself - hence the bottle, pump, plumbing, wiring and tubes are now are now for sale.

Pik-A-Part or equiv.

Any number and configuration of WW reservoirs on display. Most with attached pump. Find a place for it (smugglers box was suggested), then run your switch wires and factory nozzle hoses to the pump.

Here is my setup.

Bottle is aluminum and weighs nothing. Made a strap to hold it in place. Total cost = free.
