Need Strut info for Sport Struts

I have a 74 911 with the Koni sport struts. I dont know how to adjust them and I cant find anything in writing to explain how to do it. There is no knob at the top like the other KONI shocks.

The old koni,s were adjusted by unhooking the top and bottoming the rod in the housing and then turning . It is best done before an installation as it is quite awkward when installed. The rears are a little simpler to get at but still awkward.

a visual for you - there are some side projecting tabs or dogs on the bottom -- you need to turn it until they line up with some recesses and then push harder to seat them down in there -- that engages the "stiffening mechanism" and you can adjust the shock -- then undo it.

It's only troublesome the first time - after that it'll be easy. I never tried it with the shocks already mounted & wouldn't want to - if they are, you might unhook one end to make it easy.
