A couple pics for bb80sc

Brads been patiently waiting for more pictures of his project. Aside of being unusually busy my digital has been acting up.
It was late as I was leaving tonight but I grabbed a couple shots as it sets at this moment.

It's these last minute details that seem to drag on.
I'll post some better shots in the morning showing the tail lights better and the duck.
P.S. This duck is probably the best I have ever done. I'm going to have to do one for myself just to have around the shop.

I saw Brad's car at A. I. & R. yesterday.

It looks awesome.

Viper green is one of the best P-car colors ever.

And the steel/glass hybrid ducktail Kevin made is truly a thing of beauty.

Face it guys, that car sucks! okay, it is great. I don't think I have ever seen a car with "R" tail lights that actually *fit* like those do. Nice work Kevin. I need to find a body man up here who can do that type of quality work! The color? FANTASTIC!!

Cheers

I agree. Someone should do a writeup with tips and tricks on getting R light housings to fit properly.

Very nice car btw...

I'd credit Kevin 100% for the fitment of the light housings, as well as everything else. If you search for prior threads on the project, you'll see where he grafted a steel gas door onto the fiberglass fender to have it "just right". Then, there is the grafted ducktail, the list goes on. I have not yet seen the car in person, but have been told the seams and overall fitment of the FG parts (hood fenders, bumpers) are just excellent.

Giving credit where it's due

I appreciate all the good comments on my work. Thank You everyone. But credit on the tail lights goes to TRE for making a supurb product. It took me less than 10 minutes to fit these parts and then throw them into the paint dept. They fit excellently right out of the box. The attention to detail is evident even in the screw holes. TRE has the area reinforced w/kevlar to strengthen the hole and prevent the screw head from pulling thru.
This is one of the greatest advantages of buying from someone who uses thier own product instead of just selling it.
