another enjoyable Pelican transaction

I ordered new front and rear torsion bars along with Elephant rear bushings on 11/23. Of course I almost immediately received a confirmation email that stated I would probably receive my items on 12/6. I received electronic updates as the package came across the country and just as the tracking number stated I received the torsion bars today, I'm assuming the Elephant bushings will arrive on 12/6. The torsion bars were packed very well and arrived in perfect condition.This kind of service and follow up after receiving the order sets Pelican above most other Porsche parts sellers in my opinion. I will gladly give more orders in the future to Pelican Just thought I would share a positive purchasing experience

last time i ordered it was a can of wurth paint. i called and had it waiting for will-call and never picked it up. they sent it to me the next day without charging me. dont worry guys ill pay for it on my next order if it was a mistake. either way, is that cool or what?

Thanks for the kudos guys! We have a lot (and I really mean a lot) of new changes in store for 2006 which will significantly improve just about everything having to do with Pelican's back-end operations. Quicker shipping, more pictures, more products, lower prices, lower shipping, combined with what we already have.

We should be rolling out an important element of this plan this week!

Unfortunately, I have no control over International shipping rates - they are what they are. Even when shipping internationally, we have to fill out a ton of extra paperwork, so on top of the higher shipping costs, it's much higher cost to us to fill the order...

Yeah........and recommend USPS for shipping to Canadians because the brokerage fees with other shippers are ridiculous.
Unless the part is needed in a hurry.

I am fortunate enough to live close enough to the border and have stuff shipped to Colville, WA, via UPS to their depot "Hold for Pick-up".
I have only good things to say about UPS in Colville; they lean over backwards to call me when stuff arrives for pick-up.
Service from Pelican is good; UPS works for me.
But, for cross-border shipping, it would have to be USPS.
