Of course this assumes you will find some for sale, which you probably will not.

Simon,
Please do NOT buy used oil lines! Its not worth it and its not unheard of for oil lines that have been removed from a car one time (for engine work) to leak afterwards. Just not worth the risk. Buy new ones and that way if you have a problem they will be replaced. BTW, I may have an "extra" set of SSI's in a month or two. They are on my 3.6 right now but I have gotten a set of 993 HE's to put on the car. Problem is that I am out on the road for 2 months now and will not return home until Christmas, so car is just sitting. These were SSI's that I used on my 3.2 for several years until the transplant and are the "thick flange" model for the long stud engines. Also would keep an eye on Ebay and Pelican parts section for sale, as I have seen them there from time to time. Joe A

I've got a set I acquired with my engine, barely used (200 miles?). Now that I'm going track-only, I am not going to reinstall them.
They're in Australia tho...make an offer...pics upon request. OOps, just saw you're here too...I'll be in Melbourne in 2 weeks picking up a new toy...I can bring the SSIs for you to look at...also have an entire extra CIS setup and lots of other parts... e-mail me...jlandry@johnjlandry.com

Joeaska,
Thanks for the tip on the oil lines. I'll interested to know what price you want for yours. I have no problem waiting until next year if the price is reasonable. Simon

US$700 is A$958 today...US$1000 is A1369...you can take a look at them, they are barely used...no carbon build-up and still shiny...buying them from the US will cost you import duty and shipping on top. I just got hit by Customs with a $200 bill on top of the cost of my JE Pistons...
I'll be there next Sat and Sunday picking up my new track toy in Eltham...we can catch up then...

Are they ever for sale used? Ive seen a couple of used 3.0 sets that were almost as expensive as a new set. I dont think anyone gets these cheap. Im not even going to bother changing mine on the 3.2. Minimal gains, if any at all, over my current system, and Im not keeping the heat. I already need a shop make a set of oil lines as it is so Im just going to leave the exhaust and engine oil lines alone.

I'm only selling bcause I drove a deal to get them with the engine I purchased. I had originally thought I'd be building a street+track car. Now that I've discovered where the SS has found their 4th Reich HQ (Sydney's Road Authorities licensing and car registration lackies) I am going track-only.

John,
Check your mail, I've sent you my contact details. If you have other parts I'm also interested in: Left (our Oz passenger side) Boge suspension strut assembly. Rear compartment heater motor. Sunvisors. Simon
