I was told that Kennedy Engineering can do it, yet was just told by "Dave" that no, they don't do it anymore and that one must wait a few months for a new coating they will offer.
Any leads? Thanks

Mike,
There was also a later aluminum, steel surface pressure plate. This is what I used for many years. It should be able to be reconditioned to original. Perhaps Sach can still supply these. Regardless, there is the issue of combining the flywheel depth, disc thickness and pressure plate dimensions. My personal race-only 2.5L engines used an OE 906 flywheel, ‘67S disc, and ‘69S pressure plate with spacers to accommodate the difference in thickness. Depending on your use, there is the BIG issue of the crush of the disc friction surfaces. The extremes are no crush with a race-only disc and the standard street disc with considerable crush. What is your application? Depending on your situation, a good solution is to use the later 225 mm clutch assembly. It is stronger and lighter. It requires the Type 911 transmission/clutch linkage for an early 911. Best, Grady
