The poster is wrong tho...why would he think it is from Australia? Its clearly LHD and the host is the guy from 5th Gear!

This was a video released in the UK by Jeremy Clarkson (Top Gear presenter) a few years a go. He has done a whole bunch of these complilation videos, usually out in time for Christmas. If you look carefully the engine has been removed in the final shot when the car is dropped.

One of them featured him riding in a helicopter gunship in the desert shooting at a Corvette Stingray with a machine gun.

regards

Andy

At least they removed the engine and transmission before they fried it.

Jeremy Clarkson cracks me up, even when he's doing something really BAD.

Thats a pretty old video....Clarkson is your typical Journalist tryinf to "stand-out"...by trying to be controversial, he is aiming at upping his appeal and wanting to be different. If it mean wrecking a 911....well that's what he'll do. The video is really pointless, no focus...no aim... and but hey its journalism.

I remember living in England in the late '70s to mid '80s and he was a struggling automotive journalist, definitely not the household name he is now.

Some say that guy has some anger towards 911's. I don't think so. I think this video is somewhat of a testament to the car. He keeps pointing out how robust they are. And that bit about the arrangement of the instruments and controls.........clearly sarcasm.
