Denver area shop recommendations
I need recommendations for a shop to do a PPI in the Denver area. If you have an opinion of who NOT to use, PM me or send me an email.

Storz garage 303-333-1911 will be able to do a reasonably priced PPI for you. What year/model car?

The car is a "94 Carrera 4. I have Storz' name from a previous post by Grady Clay, along with Eisenbud and Eurosport and others. I was hoping for some feedback from some of the locals as to which one is the best. The last couple PPI's I did long distance, the shops that did the PPI missed some pretty obvious stuff, so I want to do a little homework on this one. Usually, in any town, there is one shop that stands above the rest in most peoples' minds and that's the guy I want.

JR-any of those 3 would do a good job for you, they are all small shops so you want to call and see if they can get you in in a reasonable amount of time. Storz is very reasonable. If you need someone to take a look before the PPI (to give you another set of eyes) just post and if I can't do it I am sure someone here can.

Probably the first thing would get the owner to fax you copies of the service invoices. This will show you who has been doing the service and the kind of things done. It typically is good practice to have someone other than the shop who has been doing the service to do a PPI. I would still ask the service shop for confirming records. I live in SE Denver and can look and e-mail you digital pictures. When it is at a shop, I’ll go by when it is up on a lift so you can get mages of the underside. It would be worthwhile to search Pelican and other and make your own list for the PPI. All of these shops will give you a reasonably through PPI and stop spending your money if something is found wrong. Feel free to e-mail me. Best, Grady gradyclay@hotmail.com
