'68 Door Panels
I'm trying to locate a set of correct '68 door panels. I've seen two different styles: one has the "elephant-hide" type finish; while the other one uses more of a "basket-weave" woven look. Which is correct for a '68, and what application did the other style have? Thanks!

Peter,
The “elephant-hide” was delivered on ’68 911S and 911L. The “basket-weave” was on ’68 911, 911T and 912. Best, Grady

I think that both styles are correct for 68 (with the one year only design and door pockets) depending on the model. 68 Normal = basketweave. 68 L (US) or S (ROW) = Elephant hide. Based on a few cars I have seen.
