What's missing?

This has been a question of mine for quite sometime and now I just want to know the answer, what's missing from here?

Exactly. The autoheat temp sensor. 87-89 moved it down next to the ashtray.

I just looked up the price from our host because I need one and it was $107.00. It is a "cabin" temperature sensor.

Exactly. I removed my automatic set-up altogether and converted to hand-control. There is a wire hidden inside the hole.
You can use that spot to mount you Radar Detector.

Yep, I think I'd make a coverplate for that hole instead of having the snout pointing at me from the header.

Glad to know but considering I have a Targa and live in California, I don't think I need something that ugly hanging from in between the mirror. I will invest in a new radar detector and or a coverplate to take care of this. Thanks all.
