Did you call Pelican. Maybe they have them just not on the web-site?

Or

Did you try rennspeed

http://www.rennspd.com/P_Detail.asp?PID=621

Pelican has the drivers side but I do not think they have the passenger side. Might be because the originals only had a passenger side mirror as an option, I don't know. I appoligize for linking to another supplier other than pelican wouldn't do it if pelican had them.

Here we go again- the manufacturer of the right side mirrors is still having problems getting the crimp right on his reproductions. There NEVER was a rectangular right chrome/stainless mirror offered by Porsche. This was something that was invented here. The mfg has no idea on when the production problems will be solved. As he supplies most of the resellers (such as Pelican and ourselves), the response you will get is "its on back order or we don't have it"

Now- here is an option and a high quality one at that: BMW still sells their stainless rectangular mirrors in left and right . They were fitted to late 2002 and early 320 i models. You would have to buy a pair so they look the same. The mounting is similar to the 911, but they use a longer base. The mirror is slightly larger than the 73, but smaller than the 74/75 rectangular unit
Cost is in the $250 range for the pair
Finally- remember that the passenger side does NOT mount in the same location as the driver side- just look at a 911sc or carrera for an idea on where they should go

The BMW mirrors have a sort of curved stalk on them. My car is at the paint shop or I'd post a pic. No idea they still carried them! Kudos to BMW.

I bought one earlier this year from Performance Products. It was listed in their catalog.

I have the BMW version on my 71. Only a few would know the difference and even fewer would care. I thought they were a great option and since I dont plan on winning any concours events, originality never played into my decision.
