Spark Plugs for High Compression
Hi, I woul like to know what is a best choice for spark plugs for a 1979 911 SC with 10:5.1 high compression pistons and EVO 2 camshafts profile. I'm asking about heat range. The brand does't matter, I woul prefer Bosch but NGK would be ok. Please if you have recomendations and opinions, please let me know. Thanks.

I am using the NGK dcpr6e 12mm plugs in a twin plug 3.2 10:5.1 dme engine, I dont think this is really that high of compression?

Do you have problems with that heat range, like detonation and flooding?

Is 92 the highest octane fuel Puerto Rico has? How is your engine behaving?
|
93 octane is available. The engine is totally rebuilt with brand new parts.

The car is for street/strip.

I'm using 7 range in my '80 3.2 , which is single plug, on 94 octane. The CR is somewhere between 10 and 10.5:1. No pinging in this climate.

What are the stock spark plug heat range for a stock '79 911 SC 3.0?
