Question returning Weltmeister short shift back to stock

The PO of my car installed the Weltmeister short shift which I'm not too fond of.

I do have the original shiftlever.

Is this all I need to return to the stock shifter? When I see the WSS kit advertised it looks to only include a lever , spacer and hardware.

Could I just remove the spacer and replace the stock lever to return the car to stock? Or is there something else I need as well?
Maybe the stock hardware (shorter bolts)?

Thanks
Vinny

You remove the spacer plate and reinstall the original handle. The longer bolts should probably work (extra length will hang into the tunnel about 1/4 ". If I recall the hardest part will be transferring the shift knob without damage. Then reset the shift linkage at the swivel connector would be recommended.

Thanks for the reply John.

Looking forward to getting that thing out of the car (and adding a Seine gateshift).

I did this on mine and had to cut the rear bolt down to fit properly. Otherwise it was hitting and binding the linkage leading to the rear.
