Just received 911sc The Essential Companion

I just received Porsche 911sc The Essential Companion by Adrian Streather, what a great read! It has 432 pages along with great photos and very detailed information. Mr. Streather and friends did a lot of research for this book dedicated solely for the SC fans.

There is a section in the back of the book that details an engine swap to a 1992 964 motor. There is a section for brake upgrades, adding a rear spoiler, making room for an oil cooler. boosting engine output, suspension modifications and body modifications.

There are many pages that are dedicated to 911sc in historic rally competitions as well.

Of all the books that I have on the SC, this one is the best! I bought it on Amazon for $44.50 and free shipping, no tax.

Anyone else out there reading this book?

John

Adrian is a very nice guy, too. He's active on the Rennlist BBS. It's a shame he doesn't visit us over here.

There was an earlier thread on the book....I haven't gotten mine as yet. It's a Christmas wish list item.

Not sure but my ride is supposed to be in there someplace.

Quick synopsis:

Sorry about your loss, sell it and buy a Carrera.

Sorry, it's just that I've had my first eggnog of the year, souped up of course, and I couldn't resist!! Merry Christmas to all....

PS, I just posted about another recent book that is pretty cool:

Randy Leffingwell's new book-Porsche 911: Perfection By Design...NICE!
